One Hour Digital Literacy Activities

Purpose:Create a file and save with typing and Alignment.

Make the group depending upon the class strength.
Ideally not more than 3 students per device.

    • Description

    Children learn to type a paragraph from their textbook and use properties like font color, size etc for that. Children will be taught to insert blankspace after comma, use proper capitalisation etc.

    • If the children are slow in typing, you can give them a starter ODT file with all the data typed in here.


    Find a version of the completed ODT

  • Leave letter.

    • Teacher Instructions
    1. Explain the activity before starting the class.
    2. Use technical names whereever possible. Example Font size, tab key, etc.
    3. Show to the children a print out of the final version of the text document.
